Wayne Hobbs has completed two jobs for me so far.   One was mending 4 leaking taps and a collapsed wash basin and the other was a problem with my radiators right in the middle of a cold spell.

Both jobs were completed quickly and were astonishingly well done.

I found him to be kind and patient when talking me through radiator bleeding and water pressure adjustments and he was thoughtful, clean and tidy  starting from the moment he walked through the door and slipped on his overshoes.  He works with a knowledge that is both logical and intuitive gained from a wide experience of solving practical solutions.

Not only all of that, but his prices are reasonable too.

We urgently needed some plumbing repairs to resolve two leaks. We found out about Wayne when looking for a reputable plumber. Wayne was highly recommended by several people so we contacted him.

Following telephone discussions, he visited the next day, at the agreed time, and quickly resolved the more urgent issue. He needed to obtain a part for the other one and returned, again on time, the next day with this. This issue was also quickly resolved, all at a very fair price.

Wayne is friendly and is clearly a very conscientious man. Importantly, he is very competent and guarantees his work. He is a very good communicator, keeping in touch with us from start to finish. He offers a wide range of services, as can be seen on his website.

We're very happy to recommend Wayne and have already discussed some other work with him.

Message: Having been to our daughter's wedding in Essex, we returned home to find water cascading through the garage ceiling. We turned off the electricity supply to the garage (and had no heating) and turned off the water at the stopcock.Called Wayne the next morning, who gave us an eta of 9.45am - and he arrived on time. He swiftly diagnosed the problem, fixed it within an hour and charged a very reasonable price.We've asked him to price up a few more jobs for us and cannot recommend him highly enough.Lovely man - and a dog lover to boot!
